As The New York Times’ foray into documentary television, this series featured unprecedented access to Times journalists as they investigated the most pressing issues of the day. Suzanne produced and directed three episodes, including the ground-breaking episode “The Myth of the Medallion,” which uncovering how the predatory NYC taxi medallion system pushed taxi drivers to bankruptcy, foreclosure, and suicide.

2017
An investigative series about the effects of marijauna legalization across America, with correspondent Krishna Andavolu. Suzanne oversaw ten concurrent episodes, and directed several, including the stories of a murder attributed to alleged drug-induced psychosis, and a pregnant woman using marijuana to manage hyperemesis gravidarum at the risk of Child Protective Services removing her children.

Through immersive documentary filmmaking, this series followed Morgan as he embedded in different subcultures, industries, and controversial topics to get an insider’s perspective. Suzanne produced seven episodes that included the stories of migrant farmwork, animal welfare, and NCAA student athlete practices.
